Very Disappointed, (What's this?) Shipped ,just thrown in a box, no packing, no intructions,no literature. One unit has broken button. Will not order from this site again.
microsoft lifecam VX=5000, (What's this?) It was so easy to install the webcam that took me less than 10 minutes,I have window 7,all I did was plug in the USB,and the rest was taken care by the computer.Very happy with the way the webcam works,especialy with the price I paid for it,I have no complain at all.Highly recomanded to everybody.
Worked for a while..., (What's this?) I bought this webcam over a year ago to Skype with my boyfriend in the military. I've had a few problems with it... 1) right out of the box, the snapshot/"picture" button on it didn't work. 2) it can be difficult to mount on top of a typical laptop. And 3) after about 5-6 months of use, I can't use it for more than 5 minutes before it flips the picture upside down and turns it green. Not sure if something inside is broken, but if that's the case, then it is a flimsy piece of crap camera. I expected better from Microsoft.

the first time we used this camera it worked great and so clear.
Microsoft LifeCam VX-5000, (What's this?) The item was delivered to me faster than the estimate arriving date in Amazon. And I think this webcam is really an excellent one within this range of price. I did not have to install any software, just plug it in and it works for both WinXP and Win7 (I tried it with 2 laptops).
Very happy with this product!, I bought this webcam for my sister since we Skype on a regular basis, and she was having problems with the one on her laptop. I was interested in two things -- quality of the picture and price, and this webcam has delivered on both. I went on CNET to check out what they thought was a good camera and found out about this one. We have since used it and the picture is very clear. I also have young nieces, and I was able to see them very well, and they even showed me multiple Christmas decorations they had made that I could see the details of clearly. If you're interested in lots of extra cool features, this probably isn't the webcam for you but it does give you a good quality picture for the price.
great cam, (What's this?) I love this web cam except of course the resolution is so great that every wrinkle shows including the dust on the blinds across the room. It has some really fun feateares to that makes skping more enjoyable.
