Nice Webcam, (What's this?) Very pleased with this Logitech model. I purchased this webcam for myself a while back and just purchased another one for my mom. I also recommended this to a co-worker. We are all grandmothers who live distances from our grandchildren and this webcam connects our families. I also like the HD program that comes with it. It's easy to invite family and friends and simple to call them up and talk face to face.

I originally got this webcam to use with a Windows XP based desktop PC and Skype. However, lately I've been using the C500 with my Windows 7 laptop. Using the webcam with XP has essentially been the same minus the plug-and-play functionality. On XP the PnP seemingly didn't work correctly and I received several "error installing device" warnings. This required me to install the included Logitech software to get the camera working correctly. Not a major gripe but an extra step all the same. On my Windows 7 machine this camera worked immediately after plugging it in via the USB connection.
perfect, (What's this?) it performs better than expected for the price. It was extremly easy to connect and use. MY SKYPE CONTACTA HAVE COMMENTED ON THE GREAT PICTURE QUALITY.
Great product, (What's this?) Bought this camera to work with Skype. Works excellently. Especially like the built in microphone. Good quality Kids live away, so works great to keep in touch. Got to see new granddaughter shortly after coming home from hospital. Highly recommend.

Good eat product for the money, (What's this?) I bought this for my stepson. Works pretty well, but his Dell laptop is old and dying, and it sucks a lot of memory. I have a similar item and it works well on my Vista powerhorse.
