IPEVO Point 2 View Camera, (What's this?) Good camera for the price. A bargain at $69.00! Nice and compact product, easy to carry around. I use it as a document camera. Doesn't have bells and whistles of other types, but I don't need them.
question, I haven't purchased this item yet. Does anyone know if it is compatible w/ just a projector? I see that it has a CD with it.

Great for pic of tiny stuff at work, (What's this?) Bought this thinking it might be a waste of money, but was willing to try it for the price. Turned out to be one of the best additions to my picture taking stuff. It is easy to set up on Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit). Took a picture of edge of a $5 bill to test and the writing in the edge detail was very readable. Using it to take close up pictures of small parts for work. Then I can email the pictures so we are all taking about the same detail. Using primarily on parts smaller than 1/4" diameter. I am happy with this product. It was well worth the money and I would purchase it again.
Quick Question, I'm a Film Animation student and need to purchase a document camera for use in an upcoming class to digitally capture hand-created drawings that can be imported into a 2D animation software program. I'll be using paper that measures 10 1/2" x 12 1/2".
Awesome - I bought this for my job!, (What's this?) So, I needed a small camera at work that could sit and constantly read a weight value from a scale and relay it to two computers - this did the trick and works great! It was well worth every penny. Since the main computer it is connected to is running Windows XP, I could just run the built in video program and viola (I put it in the Startup file also).
Works, but a little disappointed......, (What's this?) I purchased this item because I was hoping to take pictures of pages of books, and also because I sometimes have to give presentations and based on the reviews from teachers, it looked like this would be a pretty handy device.

It works okay, but it is not what I hoped. The quality of the picture is okay, but it is not outstanding. Sometimes I have trouble getting a full page on the screen. I wish the stand that came with the camera was taller.

Also, I think it is a little expensive for what you get, and I think I will use it but not as much as I had hoped.

But apparently all of the teachers really like it, so I think before you purchase it you should read all of the reviews and see what your main tasks are going to be, and if your tasks are similar to those with the high reviews, you may be very happy with this device.
Worse than the built-in camera on my laptop, (What's this?) I purchased this camera to use in my classroom. I loaded the software that came with the camera and it did not work (running Mac OS X 10.7.2). I had to go to the IPEVO website to download the correct software, though there was no mention of this in the included instructions. The minimal instructions state that the included software disk would work with my machine and operating system.

Once it was up and running the image quality was terrible and while the camera base is heavy with a substantial rubber cushioned foot to keep it in place the slightest bump of the desk caused an enormous amount of distortion in the image that takes the camera nearly 30 seconds to auto-correct. The image the camera projects is very grainy and unsteady even when the desk and camera are stationary. When the image is run through a mounted projector the image quality only gets worse. Turning on Photo Booth and lowering the lid of my Macbook displayed a much better image. I borrowed a small computer-top web camera purchased for less than $20 from a big-box retailer from another teacher and it projected a significantly better quality image than this camera. I ended up returning this camera to Amazon for a refund.
a small, portable document camera!, (What's this?) I've used this camera for so much! It's small and portable - I recommend buying the case for it - and sturdy. It's plug and play and does a great job focusing. The software is pretty basic but I can't see where I'd need more than that anyway. I do a lot of presentations and workshops and this little guy has become one of those things I make sure to pack. It's nice that I don't have to switch from document camera to laptop and back again. I work in a school and now when we have need for a document camera where there isn't one permanently, I take this guy instead of lugging a big one. My students are using it for stop motion animation projects as they can easily set the angle and not have to worry about moving it. It's pretty handy, too, when I want to do how-to videos of iPad apps. I just angle it to my iPad and use screen capture software to record.

Always works for us, Well, I don't know exactly what problems the other reviewer encountered, so I can't speak to that. We've had our BuddyPack for a couple years, and don't use it terribly often, but have used it (and skype) numerous times to speak to family overseas, and have not had any issues. The picture is clear, the instant photo is a really nice feature, the sound is good, the wireless signal is strong, even if you're several rooms away. Frankly, I wish more of my family had FreeTalk/skype.

Whats the deal people??, I do not understand why people are making such a racket about this camera. i have it for almost 6 months now, used it few times and didnt see any problems. works flawlessly with my Win XP dell. i have a bad habit of reinstalling my windows every now and then, i guess i am never satisfied with the OS but whenever i reinstall this webcam, it gets connected without any problem. as far as the camera movement is concerned, for under 150 bucks, if you are expecting a robotic smooth movement then you are living in lala land. i mean comeon guys. how many companies you see out in the market that have cameras that moves mechanically, rather than with software, and cost less than 150 buck? i bet none. i will give it 5 stars because i think this is the best upgrade you can get over 4500 pro series for under 150. well i paid a little under 100 but still worth it. very nice interface and very crisp picture quality. Good job logitech.
HATE IT, Overpriced! This thing only works when it wants too and I am sick of it! Stay away. I will never buy another webcam from Logitech.

Good lord man,come out of the stone age and get a real antivirus and I might believe you know what you're talking about. It works and does what it says it will,period. It's a Logitech,the most easy set up pc devices known to date. If anyone has troubles I suspect operator error,and they should promptly call in their children,nephews or nieces or neighborhood kids to install it for them.
Logitech software brings a computer to its knees, Logitech has interesting features on their web cams, but the software that supports it has serious problems. First of all, the Logitech software significantly slows down your computer. The device drivers and other associated software runs continuously--even when the web cam is not in use! To see this for yourself (if you have one), open up Task Manager (or download Process Explorer from Microsoft) and watch the CPU usage of their applications. In addition to occupying the computer's CPU for no reason, when the software is running (doing nothing) it is forcing other applications that you ARE using to be kicked out of the CPU's cache--the high-speed memory that is inside the CPU. This means that the other programs have to wait to be reloaded from main memory back into the CPU when they do finally get to run.

Second, the software has a large memory footprint. In other words, it is a memory hog. It occupies 32MB of memory when the camera is not in use. This is a totally ridiculous waste of memory.

Finally, their software is buggy. It has caused multiple "Blue Screens of Death" on my computer. That is, the BSoD screen actually lists the Logitech driver as the cause of the crash.

All in all, the hardware is nice, but it is totally worthless without software that works without totally destroying all computing power, especially when the camera is not being used.

I recommend AGAINST using not only this specific web camera, but ANY web camera from Logitech as their software has common components, so you are likely to see problems in other web cam drivers from them.

The cam is only worth $100-$125, I'n not certain what is going on here, but this cam should be priced $100-$125 USD. There are other sellers on Amazon that you can compare with, along with many other online marketplaces. Currently listed as $357.99, this cam, sold by this seller, is unbeleivablely overpriced.

Pan and tilt by hand????, (What's this?) The description of this product is very misleading. Look out for the word "manual" because that's the only indication on this product that you literally have to remove the screws from the housing and adjust the pan/tilt by hand. I don't understand how an IP camera doesn't have the option to control the camera via software. Stick with the Trendnetip422...that does everything as advertised including pan and tilt using software.
Great POE camera, (What's this?) I bought this and actually installed it outdoors but under a roof. Works great and the GPIO inputs also work great. I hooked it up to an ELK doorbell detector so it emails me 3 pictures of someone ringing my doorbell.
For the money, you can't go wrong, (What's this?) The camera does what it states it will do. For a cheap dome PoE camera, you can't find anything better. Easy to setup and get going. Love the fact that it comes with an app for the Android and iPhone to monitor your cameras remotely. People cannot give this a bad review for manual PTZ...It states that before you bought it! Nice little camera that works great., (What's this?) I am not in the habit of rating any item I purchase with five stars because in my way of thinking there is always room for improvement, hence the four star rating. As for the camera, first of all it looks nice, its so much different than other web cams I've used. As far as it's operation goes it could not be any simpler. Once the two minute setup is completed by the enclosed software you're ready to use your new camera. The images from this camera are crystal clear and you could not ask for anything better. It has several resolution settings which is up to the user to decide which one to use. I love the self-focus feature and the "True Color Clear Frame" setting as well. I use my camera mostly as a surveillance camera which I have trained on my front door and the street. Even though a window pane this camera takes clear and beautiful video as well as still pictures. Well once I washed the window it did :). It is comparable to my 720p HD camcorder and is well worth the price. I have found there is not much difference between "720p HD" and "1080p HD" resolutions. From what I have observed 1080p creates a bigger file which takes up more room on your hard drive and of course costs more to begin with. So my advice is save your money and purchase this "720p HD" webcam, I doubt you will be disappointed with your decision.
Not for streamers, (What's this?) I bought this camera to do some streaming online with game footage (twitch.tv) using an application called Xsplit. Trying to get this to work with Xsplit gave me all sorts of issues. It would lock up my laptop to the point I needed a hard reboot. It also conflicted with the onboard camera so I couldn't use both at the same time.

There's also a common issue with this camera where it will continuously refocus if you are on auto focus.

All it did was lead to frustration. I got it to work a couple of times, but only after hours of fiddling and restarting to make sure that everything was just right.

This is not a very good webcam for streaming... especially with Xsplit and I highly suggest going with Logitech instead. Any of them. I got one of the C310s and it was genuine plug and play, worked with Xsplit right away, and I could use both cameras at the same time in xsplit.
Excellent Value Webcam, (What's this?) Excellent quality webcam for the price. High resolution glass lens, 720p video and excellent microphone quality. Much easier to just use the Windows drivers than load all of the extra Microsoft "bloatware" on the enclosed CD though.

Works Great!, (What's this?) I purchased this item 1 month ago for my wife's new Asus desktop with Win7x64. After reading some of the reviews, I was a little concerned about software/driver issues. When the product arrived I simply plugged it into the USB port and clipped it to the monitor and it worked perfect. I did not use any of the incuded installation discs. Skype recognized it without any problems. It has been working fine for a month. The monitor clip looks nice and secures the camera well. The image and sound quality are great. I would recommend this item.

Good deal for a good cam, This cam works great for what i use it for. Works nice for yahoo and i use it everyday for my girlfriend. This cam was worth the buy.
sound or no sound, (What's this?) Ok - I'm not too bad at getting these things to work - however this is my third webcam (with a microphone) and nobody can hear me - so I took Creative off my computer and bought a logitech from Walmart which does work and which does give sound. To be fair, there is a learning curve - I had upgraded my computer to Vista which may be part of the problem - if you have this camera, go to the uninstall in your computer and check to see if there is anything else similar to a microphone - if so, be sure to disable it.

I have a creative webcam VF-0080 and creative no longer supports it. It doesnt provide the drivers for windows 7. The webcam inspite of being in working condition is unusable because creative is not ready to work on developing the drivers for it. I find it very strange because any upgraded or new version of software should at least have this basic backward compatibility.. Negative points for the customer support/service to creative

Decently priced cam --- but there are better ones., This web cam doesn't have a built-in mic. You'll need an external microphone in order to transmit sound, so if you already have a mic, this cam will work just fine for you... There are cams with built-in mics now. I just wanted a cheap webcam. A built-in mic would have been nice as it would have reduced the need to plug in another USB cord. The video quality is adequate -- but my mother's $90 "face-tracking" logitech cam is 10Xs better.

Still, if you're looking for a cheap cam, this is a good choice.
Not a bad cam. Not excellent, just good., This webcam is nothing great. It does the job as advertised. The frame rates are acceptable and it works with XP and Vista just fine. All the major IM clients see it and can use it.

Can't beat the price though. Picture quality is OK, not great, but not bad either. For video quality comparison: Better than YouTube Video quality but not by much.

I originally got this webcam to use with a Windows XP based desktop PC and Skype. However, lately I've been using the C500 with my Windows 7 laptop. Using the webcam with XP has essentially been the same minus the plug-and-play functionality. On XP the PnP seemingly didn't work correctly and I received several "error installing device" warnings. This required me to install the included Logitech software to get the camera working correctly. Not a major gripe but an extra step all the same. On my Windows 7 machine this camera worked immediately after plugging it in via the USB connection.

It DOES do night vision, (What's this?) I'm a little confused. I was looking for a night vision webcam for my son's crib and came across this. However, there are so many reviews here that say it doesn't do night vision that I quickly moved on to another product. But in searching I came back here another time and saw another reviewer who said that it does do night vision and no one else knew what they were talking about. Well, he's right. I sent a couple of messages to him and decided to purchase. Have been using for a week now and as a night vision camera it's great. I installed the drivers that came with it, and the first time I tried using it at night I could see my son in his crib perfectly. Night vision came on automatically in his pitch dark room. The range for the night vision isn't too far but for my purpose I can see into the crib no problem, so I'm happy. The only things that I find wrong with it is poor picture quality in the light (but I don't care cause I'm not using it for that purpose), and POOR instructions. I mean there is no help to speak of.
Not worth it, (What's this?) I have this item it dont even work on my laptop at all. I can't even use it on messengers that has webcam features in it. No matter how many times i try to get it working.. it shows a black image that is just about it.... the infrared don't even work even the program installation cd that came with it don't even work right at all.
get what you pay for, I purchased this item 2 months ago, tried it with windows 7 using Vista drivers from their website.. couldn't make it work. Emailed support to see if there will be Windows 7 drivers .. answer: not sure, if we do we will let you know. Hooked up to a XP machine, works ok if the ambient lighting is ok, not so good in low light, don't know what the LED's do, never light up white as some people claim and appear to have no IR effect, picture black when I darken room. Does appear to see IR from a remote, in a dark room I can turn on a IR remote and see the glow albeit very weak. Nice Clamp...

Simply enter the usc cable into its slot, and will automatically recognize me in my pc a webcam.
I needed a webcam to work with 64 bits, and well, met its expectations.

Cons: Do not think it's 1.3MP, and less infrared because it is white light as heck not quenched.

But the truth not is disturbing, what interested me is to work under that OS.
A poor knockoff?, (What's this?) I bought an exactly identical looking camera from a store, and loved it - nice crisp image, good camera speed.

Based on that I bought three of these on Amazon - WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE!

It claims to work with the macintosh with some driver you can download from vmicro - God alone knows what this driver I installed actually does, but it doesn't run a camera

It is a total ripoff. At least if you are going to sell a hokey camera they could at least tell me what it actually does. The description must be cut and pasted out of something else.
This identical camera is branded under many names (evidently you can just have a boat load shipped from china and stick on your own logo). My order said kinamax, i got something from a company called Sabrent.
Solid Night Vision Camera, (What's this?) Of course, you get what you pay for as this is a cheap, made-in-China infrared camera but don't let that fool you. For what it claims to be and the price you pay, the camera is great. I use it as a simple baby monitor. Because there is no infrared filter (so you can see images in the dark), it needs to be refocused for daylight and nighttime. But, because they're so cheap, I purchased two - one to focus for daylight hours and one to focus at night. The benefit there is that even though you wouldn't really be using the one focused for the daylight hours at night, it will still shine its infrared light, thus making the images at night easier to see.

I wouldn't ever use this camera to chat or anything else but as a cheap surveillance camera, it does the job.
Nice camera for the price, Upside: It is a very nice camera for the price. The image is crisp and looks like something shot from a DVD camera. The focus is manual on the camera. This might seem like a disadvantage but it is actually an advantage. The other thing I'd like to specifically point out - couple of the previous reviewers indicated this camera is not true infrared and instead just uses bright light. This is NOT true. I called the manufacturer and they confirmed it is really IR. Then I bought the camera and shined in some IR light (from a regular remote control and then from a handmade IR emitting device). It certainly picks the infrared as it should.

Downside: Not a lot of settings (but not a major issue given its price). There's no way to turn either IR or White light off. I saw a similar camera which had these buttons for turning different types of vision on or off. Not a major issue though.

PERFECT FOR BABY MONITOR USE!!, (What's this?) First of all, DO NOT pay attention to idiot reviews with low star ratings. I was skeptical because of them, but figured that maybe those people do not understand how InfraRed light works and gave it a shot. $16.00 later I couldn't be happier, this cam met my expectations.

You must understand that this webcam is NOT meant for night time security surveillance, reason being is because the IR LED's built in do not put out that much light. The more visible light you have, the more it is going to interfere with IR and the less you will be able to see at night. If you are searching for a night security cam, this is NOT the cam for you.

What I wanted was a web cam that allowed night time visibility to use as a wireless baby monitor to mount on the crib that I could use with the hardware I already own...which is, a computer, a wireless internet router, an iPhone and an iPod Touch along with the apple store app called iCamSource. With that software, I can see what is going on with our baby inside that crib, wireless and SECURED.

Unlike those $150 - $300 baby monitors, they put out UN-SECURED Radio Frequencies that anyone with the proper equipment, can lock into that frequency and see what is going on inside your home. Why spend that much more when you probably already own what I just mentioned on the last paragraph?? If you're that type of individual...read on. If not...then don't waste your time with this cam.

I installed this cam over the crib, I was very impressed with the video quality with day light, everything looks sharp, couldn't be happier, even though it is not HD like the box says. Then the night test, the crib lit up just as I expected.

USB Webcam with LED Lights - Metal Finish

Is this New?, (What's this?) I realize this is not a pricey webcam but it came in an unmarked box in a ziploc bag so not even sure if it's a new unused item. Hope it works OK.
It's OK.., (What's this?) This product has a more focused LED light than the "Hootoo Y101-A". But the image quality in low light is absolutely terrible. Even with the LED light activated.

The image is somewhat blurry when compared to the image I get from the "Hootoo Y101-A"

The problem with the "Hootoo Y101-A" compared to this camera is the Hootoo has a much less focused LED output. It's more spread out, which I guess is better if you're actually using this as a webcam. My purpose was for security.

Both are okay deals but if I'd get the Hootoo just because it has a sharper image and is better in low light conditions.
broke after 2 days, (What's this?) I wasn't hoping to get a great product. I simply wanted a webcam that worked. But in the second day, the mic stopped working. What could you expect from something so cheap? It's not even worth to ship it back.

It cuts out after 5 seconds and then either freezes or can't be recognized by the computer. Next day same thing happens. It's been a month and still does the same thing. No microphone!, (What's this?) The camera works alright, image quality about the same as any other webcam I've used. LED lights work well and do a good job of lighting a dark image. The big fat letdown is that there is no microphone on the camera. Now I have to go buy a micropohone, which means more clutter and cables on my desk and more money to spend on what I'd hoped would be a cheap and useful purchase. This camera is fine I guess for taking still images or making silent movies, but don't expect to get on skype with it unless you and your friend know sign language! Some reviews state that this does have a microphone, but mine certainly does not. Tried it on Windows XP, Windows 7 and Ubuntu Linux 11.10 (yes, the camera works fine with Linux) and same result across all OS's, video device shows up and is available to all software, but no audio input device! This really limits what you can do with this camera. This would be a fine purchase if you already own a computer microphone or headset.

Junk, great optics but now software support., (What's this?) I used it twice and regret buying it, this unit is totally cheap Chinese junk. Spend an extra $10 Dls. and get a a cheap Logitech, you will be much happier. The first unit broke the first week I had it and I had to get a replacement. I purchased this webcam about 3 weeks ago, it arrived before the due date, i plugged it in right out of the box and windows 7 recognized it and it worked as soon as i plugged it in,the picture is crystal clear and the sound from the mic is perfect, i checked it out on skype, msn, and yahoo messenger, and it works perfectly on all 3, I highly recommend this webcam, you can,t beat it for the price.
You buy what you get...., (What's this?) I would say this product is...ok. It certainly looks pretty cool and the camera and mic quality is good. The cord splits in two (one for the camera to plug in one for the mic) but is way too short. It comes with two silver keys that unlock the bottom base so that the flap comes up and you can press down and suction the whole thing to a surface, but that was made very poorly so it barely works.

Logitech 961471-0403 QuickCam Ultra Vision

New Skype Cam-Mic, (What's this?) The unit works fine. Be sure to follow directions to the t, however. And fix any issues with pc before installing driver. I had a thermal shutdown during the very lengthy driver and software install process which caused havoc with windows and took many steps to correct (mostly). The unit however, works very well, once sw is installed correctly.
Mac Mini Home Theater Video Chatting!, (What's this?) In the webcam arena, you can spend 2-3x more money for slightly better picture quality or more bells-and-whistles. Hooking this up to a Mac Mini (that's hooked up to the HDTV), I wasn't concerned about the fancy software special effects - since they generally don't work on the Apple side of the house. In the thirty-forty dollar range, however, how much are you really looking for?

The bottom line is - I plugged it in, and Skype, Gmail, and iChat all recognized the camera immediately. In a smallish, 10 x 14, moderately-lit room, with the camera balanced conveniently atop the TV, grandparents can chat with their grandson at length with more than acceptable video quality and absolutely no difficulty with audio (in or out). Indeed, they often play hide-and-seek from across the miles thanks to both parties being able to see and hear each other clearly (and one party being four-years old).

For the price, simplicity, and clarity, the Logitech QuickCam Ultra Vision is an excellent choice for Mac users.
Logitech Quickcam Ultra vision vs. the pro, The ultra vision webcam is perfect for my use. Excellent audio quality and image quality is superior. I was debating between the ultra vision and the pro. Although the pro has nicer video quality if you were to record it to your computer for youtube uploads but if you are thinking about using it strictly for webcam use, you will not notice any difference between the two for live video on SKYPE. My suggestion is that you go with the ultra vision over the pro unless you have more presidents talking to you. Hope this helps you decide the right webcam.

Webcam Logitech review, (What's this?) I bought this product so I could access SKYPE with my family. I ran into problems with the installation of Logitech software ( I have VISTA). I finally uninstalled the software and let SKYPE locate the camera. Works great now. That is all I wanted the camera for but if you wanted all the graphics, etc. that LOGITECH offers with this camera, you would want to figure out the problem.
Great Webcam, (What's this?) Excellent picture quality. Only thing they could have done better is possibly a little better microphone. I use my headset now as the mic sounds better according to others. Overall a great product that I have recommended to others. I own two of these.
Bought a second one, (What's this?) I bought one Logitech 961471-0403 QuickCam Ultra Vision about a year or so ago and used it for skype. Always liked it. When I got another computer I bought another one. It's one of the less expensive ones and well worth it. Also got it on time.

Poor, get something name brand with a driver CD, (What's this?) Plug-n-Play, I don't think so. It didn't make my computer crash, like I read in some other reviews, but it definitely works when it feels like it. Worked about 3 out of 20 tries. Comes in a plastic bag with no padding, no packaging, no brand, no identifying factors. Not even worth the return shipping, $6 lesson learned.

In its defense, the three times it did work, the picture was fine and the LED lights adjusted easily with the dial, and the microphone worked very well.
Really great ... for the money., (What's this?) I love this thing. I can't believe how good of a camera this is for the money.
The one issue I have is that the camera isn't quite aligned with where it is pointed. It may have become misaligned in shipping. I don't know. All I know is that when I point it directly ay my face, I show up slightly off center in frame. Still, for the price, I can't really complain too much. You should definitely buy it.

A fair opinion, (What's this?) I found the webcam picture quality pretty good. My main objection is that it does not attach to a laptop computer well at all. It continues to slide off or fall off, and the auto focus won't work when it does that. If I had known that I would have bought a different one.

Best Webcam I've Used Yet, (What's this?) I got this to replace my current Microsoft Lifecam VX-7000. Before recently, I converted my mouse, keyboard, monitor, and now my webcam to HP products. So far, all of them including this one have given me no problems right out of the box. I have those same pixels as the other guy had, but for the most part they aren't even visable, so they don't bother me. I don't know about Mac compatibility, but I don't even have one anyway.

Overall, great HP webcam for the price. It can take up to 19MP pictures at an extremnely high resolution, and the video quality is nice and clear. HP has done it again.
Skype CAM works great, (What's this?) When you use this CAM, install the drivers and also change SKYPE to use the HP CAM editor, instead of SKYPE viewer.
This will allow the HP to covert the video to MAX quality and not lock up. It also has the privacy lens cover built in to the CAM. A must for any CAM.

VideoCam...., (What's this?) Can be better, I believe is not 30fps........but what I can said, if I want a better cam I need to paid more, for the price is OK, the next time I will look for 30fps or HD Cam.....
Great camera for Skype and video calls, (What's this?) This camera is totally worse it's value. Sharp picture, built in microphone, and very useful (which is rare in these days) software.
Plug and View, (What's this?) I have the smaller hp webcam for my laptop, it works great so I decided to buy this one for the PC. I am not dissapointed yet. Has a good picture, not awesome but a good picture. My wife installed it with me out of town and didnt call me once! She is not computer literate at all. It is just plug it in, let it find drivers and your ready to go.

An improvement over Trendnet's older cams, (What's this?) The TV-IP602WN is basically an upgraded version of Trendnet's older Pan/Tilt network cams. I am familiar with Trendnet/Linksys/Dlink cams (click "see all my reviews" above) and I will be comparing the 602WN to these. The maximum resolution of the camera is unchanged from the previous models and is 640x480 (some older/cheap IP cams only do 320x240, I would advise against buying these).
Appearance wise the 602WN is more curved/rounded than the older TV-IP410/422 cams. I didn't find anything wrong with the older design but it's changed to a somewhat sleeker appearance. One thing that's changed is the Pan/Tilt range. On the 410/422 the Pan range is +/- 165 degrees (330 degrees side-to-side) and Tilt +(up)90/-15 degrees. On the 602 this is reduced to Pan +/- 156 degrees (312 degrees) and Tilt +(up)70/-45. Notice that although the Pan range is reduced somewhat the cam can now tilt further down than older models could have. This is a good thing as cams are often mounted high, so being able to tilt more downward rather than up is often useful.
Another thing that's improved from the older 410/422 series is a new "night mode/slow shutter" option so that you can get a better image in low light (although fast motion may blur due to the slower shutter speed). This is exactly like the option on the D-Link DCS-1130 camera, and in fact both cameras share similar options for RTSP/night mode settings (I suspect both cams use the same CMOS sensor). Note that the 602WN is a day cam (i.e. it has no infrared LEDs to illuminate in low light levels) so you will need some illumination at all times.
